One Another

“Serve One Another”

A central teaching in the Bible is to “serve one another.” While that command directly relates to serving fellow believers, God also calls upon His followers to serve all humankind with whom we come into contact. These are our neighbors.
When we serve others, God promises a blessing for when we do it out of obedience to His command or when we do it out of love, choosing to serve versus feeling forced to serve.
Join us for worship this coming Sunday as we look at Galatians 5:13-14 along with some parallel texts of Scripture as we discover the blessing of serving others.
We meet for worship at 9:30 m. at 740 N. 129th Street along the West Dodge corridor in Omaha, Nebraska. If you are uncomfortable attending in person, check out our Facebook page, SpiritOfFaithOmaha, or our YouTube channel. Come grow with us as we seek to share the joy of knowing Jesus Christ.

Submit to One Another

As we launch into a new year, we have the opportunity to reset our course, devoting ourselves to becoming an even better person in the New Year.
One area needing to be improved is our relationship with fellow believers. Scripture provides approximately 60 commands that guide us in those relationships.
Over the next weeks, we will dive into some of those commands as we seek to honor Jesus in all that we do and say. Our first look will be at the need to submit to one another.
