Ephesians 2:6-7
Monuments serve to remind us, to advise us and to warn us. Part of their purpose is to teach us what to do, not to do and what to never allow again. Monuments can even be a testimony to humankind’s ingenuity and to God’s working. Followers of Jesus are monuments to God’s grace. They remind us and others of God’s love, God’s mercy and His grace, serving as evidence that God cares so much for humankind that Jesus paid the debt of sin for all so that all could experience the grace of His forgiveness and provision for eternal life through faith in His Son, Jesus.
