Phonies, fakes, counterfeits, and even scams all have a similar trait associated with them . . . the desire to deceive.
Deceiving others lies at the heart of each of these terms.
There can even be deceivers in a church. Those who claim to be Christians, but whose lifestyle, actions and words reveal otherwise.
God’s Word warns us and informs us on ways to discover who is and who isn’t a counterfeit Christian.
