Ephesians 4:7-13
Building a church can be a reference to the physical construction of a building for use by a group of Jesus followers to gather for worship. When building a church is referenced in Scripture, that building relates to the spiritual growth of individual members in the gathering of those who have placed their faith in Jesus, not a physical building.
Jesus even gave gifts to His followers so that they would be even more effective in building up fellow believers in their faith.
We will look at some of the foundational spiritual gifts given to individuals for the purpose of building Christ’s church.
