Judging

“The Boomerang Effect of Judging”

Boomerangs must be thrown correctly for them to return to the thrower. It takes practice and a special technique that is fitting for each boomerang.
The boomerang effect of judging takes no practice. Scripture teaches us that when we judge someone else according to our standards, we judge ourselves. The judgement we extend is not God’s truth, but our own opinion. As a result, we will be judged by the false standards we have set for others.
As we delve into the Scriptures, we discover what the Bible teaches about judging others by our own standards versus God’s. We will begin our study in Romans 2:1-4. Hope you can join us!
We meet for worship at 9:30 am. at 740 N. 129th Street along the West Dodge corridor in Omaha, Nebraska. If you are uncomfortable in attending in person, check out our Facebook page, SpiritOfFaithOmaha, or our YouTube channel. Come grow with us as we seek to share the joy of knowing Jesus Christ.
